We are Wesley and Nicole from Minnesota.  Thank you for taking the time to read our family adoption profile.  We appreciate that this may be a difficult decision for you and we admire your courage to consider adoption.  We are excited for the opportunity to expand our family through adoption and look forward to the blessing of another child.

A Glimpse At Our Family Fun in Minnesota

As a family we like to find activities that we can do together.  In the winter we like to ski, ice skate and snowshoe and the summer is a great time to go biking and to have fun at the waterparks. We also enjoy traveling, and had a great time together this past summer as Nicole’s parents joined us for a family vacation in Europe, seeing the sites of Germany and France. 

On the weekends our family often find ourselves at the Saturday matinee and I think we have seen most of the animated movies released over the past few years. Our current favorite is “Tangled” however “Nemo”, “Sinbad”, and “The Princess and the Frog” are also popular in our family.

Why We Chose Adoption

We believe a family is made of people that love and support each other, regardless of their beginnings and I hope we have done a good job of reflecting that here in our adoption profile.  We have always been open to adoption and have seen adoption be a wonderful experience first hand because Wesley’s younger sister was adopted. 

Nicole and I have always hoped to expand our family with a baby girl.  However despite several attempts at IVF we have not been successful at having more children.  While it has been difficult to go through several failed IVF cycles it has also reminded us of what is really important, that family is what you make of it.

For us, it is to be parents to our children, however they may come to us.  We are all thrilled and excited for the day we welcome a new baby into our family.

What We Are Hoping For In Our Adoption

Since deciding to adopt, it has also given us an opportunity to think about what it would be like for a child.  We both agree that it is important to talk openly about adoption so our child knows their story of how we became a family.  We can appreciate that adoption can be a difficult decision and we welcome the opportunity to meet with you if you are comfortable.  We will also respect your desire for a more closed adoption if this is your wish.

Parenting  & Education Beliefs

We believe in providing an environment for our children to grow to their fullest potential, whatever that may be. Like our parents, we also believe that education is important and are ready and willing to support our children in the paths that they choose.  Thankfully, Minnesota has an excellent education system in both the public and private sector. We also feel it is important to experience other cultures, to travel and have an understanding of both our community and the world around us.

Our Promise To You

We are very excited to expand our family through adoption!  We are financially secure and we are able to provide a stable and secure home for our children, as well as many fun activities and lots of love.  We promise that any child who enters our family will receive all of the love, the nurturing and the opportunities that we can give.  We really treasure our family and and we are ready to welcome another child.
